I'm slowly getting out of art block. Yaaaaaay!
Anyways I did something on deviantart called the Paper Chain Project which is where someone gives a character and you have to do a sketch of them. The character belongs to Painted-bees on deviantart.

I think I'm gonna do this with all my sketches now. Looks fancy~

Just a random digital painting that took a couple hours. So its a speed paint in a way. 

Oh and I've been working on something for graphic design homework. We're designing characters for a video game. I see so much wrong with it but I kinda like it D;

Yongrui

Practicing in SAI more :D Only this took a few hours and I fixed it up in photoshop.
I pretty much tried completely redoing an old picture and it looks compleeeetely different.
Yongrui's my youngest main character '3' About 5 or 6.
Inspired by this song, which would totally be his song if each of my OCs had a song to represent them.

First SAI painting

Did a speedpaint in SAI for the first time :O

I think it came out pretty good. Much faster to paint than photoshop. (Did in about an hour)

Proof that I am working on something not school related. This is how I distract myself to the fact that I haven't heard from Sheridan yet ._. So much fun though~

So I got SAI and it is the most amazing program I have ever used. At least for cel shading. 'Dem lines <3

I decided I would try to do one nice picture of each of my characters from my story. Doing profiles. Oh gosh I love making profiles.
So here's what I got so far

Gonna redo Evan most likely (the ginger guy). Only about halfway through all the characters.

EDIT: LUUUUUL. I just realized the top row is RGB. That is amazing.

All I ever post on here is graphic design assignments -.-
We're doing grid drawings, only on the computer and I decided to draw naked snake.
I hate drawing box by box though so I started out with the boxes and I'm shading without them.

Motorcycle Flyers

In my Graphic Design class, we had to partner up with another person and work on this huge project that lasts half the quarter. The whole idea was that we were given a company and we had to redesign a bunch of the design aspects of their company and design a new product geared to a different demographic besides their usual buyers.
We chose Victory motorcycles and decided to make them eco friendly for younger people and people who are concerned about the environment. I love how the magazine flyers came out ;D Except for the third one but we were limited to only 6 colors for that one.
Haha we're waaaay ahead of everyone too because we're the only ones not slacking off.
Here's what we got:

My partner designed and made the logo herself. Personally, I like it muuuuuch better than the original. But hey, thats what they whole redesigning is about.

Heh, somebody was doing make-up so they did Manscara. All the guys in the class except for two were wearing eyeliner so they could have pictures. Very strange day. Is it a full moon tonight?

Sketch dump. I wish I could make my sketchbook look as awesome as everyone else's I've seen ;3; I just draw concept art for comics I wanna do and random objects.

Finished the person

Well after working about 3 hours a day at school on this for two and a half weeks, I've finally completed the person. :D

Drew it exactly from the blue sketch in my last post, though I left out a few things so it would look a little less cluttered. I kinda just gave up on the left arm too. I spent about 4 hours trying to fix it and I just gave up one it looked decent. But all in all, this is probably my best or one of my best pictures at the moment ;3;

Just need to add the background now.

Illustration graphic design project

My favorite part of the year in graphics is when we do digital painting or anything drawing related ;D (We did it first quarter in graphics II). In Senior graphics, we have to do a digital painting and we had to choose from several classical styles. Of course, I chose the closest to my style which is romanticism xD As far as I can tell, its just a stylized realism.

I really like how my rough sketch is coming out so far. Didn't take me long to come up with an idea. Gonna start the actual sketch tomorrow. Couldn't do it today 'cause I didn't have any nice paper with me D;

Not gonna be classical romanticism. I hope she lets me get away with something a bit modern. I'm thinking of actually using this as the cover of one of my comics when I get through with it and model all the other covers off this (Person in center with detailed background and a color theme)

PSA poster for drunk driving

Billboard for a restaurant at Mandalay bay (in Las Vegas) called Mix.

I hated doing this 'cause it made me so hungry ;3; And my friend sitting next to me had a restaurant in the same place too.

Logo for something for the American Heart Association that I didn't win ;3;

Also another logo I did for a contest I didn't win. Everyone hated the logo that was chosen because the person dodged and burned everything xD

Redesign for a book cover. I hard to do this one which I have never read but everyone around me had.

I'd never make a successful graphic designer xD I like coming up with my own stuff and I hate logos with a passion :I Everything else is pretty fun though. When ever my teacher says we're designing a logo, I'm like "DEAR GOD NO"

Hello

Yup. This is my art blog. Probably gonna post some stuff tomorrow or something. Been working on my portfolio for the Sheridan college animation program, which isn't coming out as good as I want but oh well ;3;

Also, I'll just use this to post random doodles and school work too '3'

I never post my graphic design pieces so I might as well do it on here.
