Random sketch and WIP

Just a random digital painting that took a couple hours. So its a speed paint in a way. 

Oh and I've been working on something for graphic design homework. We're designing characters for a video game. I see so much wrong with it but I kinda like it D;

Practicing in SAI more :D Only this took a few hours and I fixed it up in photoshop.
I pretty much tried completely redoing an old picture and it looks compleeeetely different.
Yongrui's my youngest main character '3' About 5 or 6.
Inspired by this song, which would totally be his song if each of my OCs had a song to represent them.

WIPs for character busts

Proof that I am working on something not school related. This is how I distract myself to the fact that I haven't heard from Sheridan yet ._. So much fun though~

So I got SAI and it is the most amazing program I have ever used. At least for cel shading. 'Dem lines <3

I decided I would try to do one nice picture of each of my characters from my story. Doing profiles. Oh gosh I love making profiles.
So here's what I got so far

Gonna redo Evan most likely (the ginger guy). Only about halfway through all the characters.

EDIT: LUUUUUL. I just realized the top row is RGB. That is amazing.

Sketch dump. I wish I could make my sketchbook look as awesome as everyone else's I've seen ;3; I just draw concept art for comics I wanna do and random objects.

Finished the person

Well after working about 3 hours a day at school on this for two and a half weeks, I've finally completed the person. :D

Drew it exactly from the blue sketch in my last post, though I left out a few things so it would look a little less cluttered. I kinda just gave up on the left arm too. I spent about 4 hours trying to fix it and I just gave up one it looked decent. But all in all, this is probably my best or one of my best pictures at the moment ;3;

Just need to add the background now.

Illustration graphic design project

My favorite part of the year in graphics is when we do digital painting or anything drawing related ;D (We did it first quarter in graphics II). In Senior graphics, we have to do a digital painting and we had to choose from several classical styles. Of course, I chose the closest to my style which is romanticism xD As far as I can tell, its just a stylized realism.

I really like how my rough sketch is coming out so far. Didn't take me long to come up with an idea. Gonna start the actual sketch tomorrow. Couldn't do it today 'cause I didn't have any nice paper with me D;

Not gonna be classical romanticism. I hope she lets me get away with something a bit modern. I'm thinking of actually using this as the cover of one of my comics when I get through with it and model all the other covers off this (Person in center with detailed background and a color theme)
